The Texas traditions of chili and charity will come together March 24th-26th, 2017 at the 48th Texas Men’s State Chili Championship for a weekend of chili, charity and fun to benefit the Special Olympics Texas. The three day event at the Navarro County Expo Center in Corsicana will attract chili cooks from all over Texas and adjoining states.
We are expecting a tremendous turnout of the general public and cooks to enjoy the games and carnival atmosphere run by the City of Corsicana and Special Olympics. This will be a lot of fun, but the serious side is to raise money to support the athletes, volunteers, coaches, students and family members of Special Olympics. We raise money through cook-off entry fees, auctions, raffles, donations and sponsors.
