GET A LODE OF THIS ! The 2020 Granite Fest will be in conjunction with the 51st CASI Texas Men's State Chili Championship. This is a festival conducted by the City of Granite Shoals and includes: vendors, food booths, car show, kid's games, hot air balloon ride, DJ on Friday night, and bands all day Saturday.
The City of Granite Shoals is a home-rule municipality of 5,000 fantastic citizens enjoying life on beautiful Lake LBJ in Burnet County, Texas. The city, whose motto is 'The City of Parks' boasts 19 public parks. Many of the parks are on the waterfront and about half of those have boat ramps available to the public.

The city, that recently celebrated 51 years of incorporation, is convenient to Hwy 281 in Marble Falls; only six miles away. We are also only a short hour commute to the state capital; Austin, TX. The city has a municipal complex at 2221 N. Phillips Ranch Road. This 131 acre tract is the site of the City Hall and the Quarry Park.
Quarry Park has covered tennis courts, a butterfly garden, a 'Hike, Bike and Run' trail named after local Olympic hero Leo Manzano, a Wildlife Viewing Station and soon will have basketball, soccer and pickleball courts.
